Joshua Wilson, from Bury, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2004 at the age of three and following complex surgery, due to the location of the tumour on the brain stem, he was left with complex physical disabilities. Josh, nicknamed SuperJosh, was admired for his smile, strength & determination by many, and over the years the public has raised funds to help pay for specialist equipment and house adaptations needed for Josh.
To celebrate Josh's 13th birthday in August 2013, his family launched The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity which helps children like Josh who have brain tumours and post surgery with advice, support & financial solutions. In its first year, the charity raised over £100,000!

Nightlifematters is a nationwide consumer campaign designed to raise awareness of the countless issues and challenges venues across the UK are currently facing. Over the last few years we’ve watched many well loved venues close due to a variety of issues culminating in what could be called a perfect storm for owners and promoters. Nightlifematters is a series of events over the year designed to rally support, build awareness and celebrate the huge economic & social contribution of night time business. The campaign gives you the opportunity to sign the petition and send an email to your local councillor. In doing so we can begin to make our voices heard. We need your support so join the movement at www.nightlifematters.com
